This guide explains how to manage user access to the WEpayments Dashboard, including user roles (Moderator, View, Write), creating users, assigning permissions, and understanding role descriptions.

Access Control menu visibility

The Access Control menu is only visible to users with Moderator permissions.

User roles and permissions

WEpayments uses three main roles to control access:
RoleWhat it allows
ModeratorFull access – can create new users, edit access, manage permissions
WriteEdit permission – can create payments and charges, edit some information
ViewRead-only permission – can only view information (cannot create or edit)
💡 The permissions available depend on the type of product you have purchased.

Important note about Moderator role

How to create a new user

Step-by-step

1. AccessSettings > Access Control (Moderator user only)
2. Click “Create User”A new screen opens
3. Edit user dataEnter name, email, language, and affiliation (company)
4. Associate companyIf you have multiple companies registered, select the appropriate one
5. SaveSave the user data first
6. Select user againLocate the user from the list
7. Assign rolesUse the selection box to add or change the user’s roles
8. Save againConfirm role assignments
💡 If you have more than one company registered on our Dashboard, you can view them in the company selection field.

Permission types

ViewCan see information but cannot change anything
WriteCan edit, create charges, create payments

User creation limits
