How to create payouts exceeding 15,000 via Electronic Transfer (TED)
Updated
In September 2025, the Central Bank determined the suspension of transactions exceeding R$ 15,000.00 due to an increase in attacks targeting financial institutions. WEpayments has demonstrated compliance with all requirements for the release of this type of transaction, so you can now make TEDs exceeding this amount as normal.
To make it easier, we have prepared a step-by-step guide on how to create TEDs directly through our panel.
If you prefer, you can also make these transfers via API, following our official documentation.
Schedules and settlement times
To make TEDs, they must be created by 2 p.m. on each business day, as TEDs are only processed on business days during business hours.
Once created, the transfer enters the processing queue and will be settled according to the bank's deadline of up to 2 hours.
In case of rejection of the TED payment, the credit will be returned to the account within one business day.
