What is Reprocessing Payments?
Reprocessing is an exclusive feature of WEpayments that ensures all your PIX payments, which for some reason were not completed on the first attempt, undergo a new automatic attempt to increase the chance of payment completion. The advantage of reprocessing is higher payment conversion.
What happens to the payment during the reprocessing?
During the reprocessing, the status of your payment will be "processing" or "processed," which means our system will make a new payment attempt within the next few minutes.
How do I request the activation of this feature for my operation?
The reprocessing feature is active by default for all clients who have the Payout product. You can check if this option is available for your business during the integration process or directly with our support team. If you do not wish to use this feature, you can also communicate with our customer service team.
When does it make sense to have reprocessing for my operation?
If the most important aspect for your business is ensuring that payments are completed regardless of the time it takes to process them, then this feature is perfect for your operation as it will ensure a higher payment conversion rate. On the other hand, if the most crucial factor for your business is ensuring that all payments are processed as quickly as possible, regardless of their final status, then you have the option to disable this feature. If you still have any doubts about this functionality, please speak with your account manager to better understand whether it makes sense for your operation or not.
